Male
Sebastien Flynn
Sebastien Flynn had a great start to his university career, winning the home opener for his team at McGill University. He followed this up with a 20th place finish in the 10k at the prestigious Western Open and a 5th place over 6k in Sherbrooke.
Female
Rebecca Coady
Rebecca ran to a series of lifetime personal bests in her first number of races as a freshman with Tulane University in New Orleans. At the Southern Mississippi Invitational she placed second in the 5k with a time of 19:19.41. She place 4th at the LSU Invitational over 6k (21:59.94) and 31st at the Auburn Invitational in Alabama. In this race she produced a very impressive PB of 17:54.95 for 5k.

Male
Mattias Wolter
Mattias had a commanding win at the NSSAF Cross-country Championships finishing 13 seconds ahead of Dennis Kayumba of Dr. JH Gillis School in Antigonish. Mattias represented Park View and ran 22:31 over the 7k course.
Female
Victoria Fratczak
Victoria claimed her first NSSAF X-country title with a very impressive 34 second victory over the second place finisher. Victoria, representing Dartmouth High, finished the 5k course in 19:04.

Male
Mitchell Yetman
Mitchell had a great indoor season opener setting a new NS Bantam record in the 60m with his 8.40 performance. This betters the previous record of 8.58 set by Nathan Bolt in 1995. He also won the bantam boys long jump competition.
Female
Laura Englehutt
Laura helped her team at the University of Tulsa to a top six position at the Midwest Conference championships (out of 25 teams) with her 60th place finish in 21:46 over the 6k course. There were 178 individual finishers.
