Athletics Nova Scotia Update |
|
Updated May 20th, 2010 We had another exciting week in Track and Field in Nova Scotia! · Metropolitan field hosted the 2nd annual Atlantic Throws Summit. Thanks to an excellent group of more than 40 participants (athletes, coaches and clinicians), the Summit exceeded expectations when it came to having fun, teaching new skills and creating excitement for the coming season. This year’s Summit also boasted a welcome addition of Para-Athletic throwers, with 6 athletes competing. This was likely the first event in Athletics Nova Scotia history to offer tie down throws! Hopefully this will be the beginning of regular events that are able to accommodate all athletes. Full results will be available shortly. |
